Geologist, Astronomer, amateur shutterbug (but wanting to go further). Interested in landscapes, macro, street and urban landscapes, nature and astrophotography. Don't have terribly expensive equipment, but I make do with what I have. My philosophy is to use what you have and create the best you can. It's your mind that makes the photo...what you see, what and how you feel, what you experience in the moment you press that shutter button. The camera is just a tool for you to achieve that, whether it's film or digital. YOU make the photo. And, in its creation comes the full expression of yourself. Do it right and the viewer will get to know you without having even met you.
